While in law school, Rebecca served as the Business Managing Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, the President of the Family & Juvenile Law Society, Women's Law Society, and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She was an active member of Quinnipiac Law's Mock Trial Honor Society and an active Competition Team Member and secretary of the Society for Dispute Resolution.
During her time at QUSL, Rebecca received two Awards for Excellence in Legal Skills and awards for Excellence in Clinical Education, Service to the Community, Service to the Law School, and the Judge F. Owen Eagan Annual Book Award. Rebecca is trained in mediation, having completed the Quinnipiac University School of Law Center on Dispute Resolution's 40-Hour Mediation Certificate Program. While at Quinnipiac, Rebecca was a fellow for the Center on Dispute Resolution. She also worked as a research assistant in preparation for the Speziale Alternative Dispute Resolution Family Law Symposium Reimagining Resolution of Family Matters in Connecticut.
Before joining Perelmutter, Potash, & Ginzberg, Rebecca mediated employment discrimination cases for the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, interned for the Quinnipiac Civil Justice Clinic assisting low-income clients in custody and immigration cases, and interned for the Center for Family Justice assisting victims of domestic violence in family legal matters including divorce, custody, and restraining orders.
